Woman dies of Swine Flu in UK

A patient suffering from swine flu in Scotland has died - this marks the UK's and Europes first death form the virus.

The patient, Jacqueline Fleming from Glasgow died in the Royal Alexander Hospital in Paisley.

A spokesperson for Scottish government confirmed this.

There have now been 752 cases confirmed in England, 463 in Scotland, eight in Northern Ireland and three in Wales, said the Health Protection Agency.

No, when I posted the story at the time the news was so new that the only media site that had the news story was the BBC, but when I posted that link the BBC only had one paragraph. The story I posted had a lot more detail.
I didn't see the need as basicly the story was original because the story was from where I live, I knew of the story before the BBC posted it.
