Woman killed, seven injured in Pakistan blast

D. I. Khan: One woman was killed and seven others injured including four children in a blast at home in Dere Ismail Khan here on Wednesday.

According to police, blast happened in Nobel Town area, destroying a home completely while affecting several others. A woman knows as Shahida Parveen was killed and seven others sustained injuries in the blast, police said.

The injured were rushed to the hospital in which three were reported to have in critical condition. The blast occurred when it was raining in Dera Ismail Khan and the entire city was out of electricity.

The police said cause and type of the blast could not be known yet.
