World Vision aid agency attacked in Pakistan, At least five dead
At least five aid workers have been killed by 'Islamist militants' after they broke in to a World Vision agency in the Mansehra district of Pakistan.
The World Vision five workers are expected to be announced as being Pakistani and were working in the office as part of relief efforts for an earthquake that hit the area and killed 73,000 people in October 2005.
Suspected Islamist militants have attacked the office of a British aid agency in Pakistan killing up to five people, say reports.
The militants stormed the World Vision agency in the Mansehra district, about 40 miles north of Islamabad, then opened fire.
World Vision describes itself as "a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice".Although "inspired" by Christian values, the aid group says it works with people of all faiths

But the problem is that CIA and ISI(Pakistani secret service) are helping Al-Qaeda to intensify terror attacks so that US stays in the region, dwelling on the pretext of 'war on terror'.How US and Pakistan could eliminate an organisation which they created for that the very specific purpose. After withdrawl of Soviet troops from Afghanistan US and Pakistani establishment needed some excuse to intervene in Afghanistan.Top Talibani leaders are receipients of US funds,Pakistan's hospitality.

Yes it's always horrible when you hear of charity workers being killed.

Absolutely disgusting. What have these terrorists proved by killing unarmed and innocent aid workers? These terrorists don't want the common people to get help and their conditions improved. That is how these terrorists retain their hold on poor people.
I don't think that the attack on World Vision had anything to do with it being a Christian organization. This was an attack to send a out a message to any aid organization to stay out and leave the people in their current miserable state.
