Police in Serbia have arrested Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb Military commander who has been on the run for more than 15 years after being indicted for war crimes. In a special news conference, Serbian President, Boris Tadic made the announcement stating the arrest is a step towards full reconciliation in the region. Mr. Mladic was arrested with a false identity documentsin the village of Lazarevo, near Zrenjanin in the northern Serbian. In 1995 he was indicted for crimes during the Bosnian war including the genocide in Srebrenica.
