Writer: ‘Full-Fledged Race War’ If Obama Loses

Philadelphia Daily News contributor Fatimah Ali appears to be trying to scare the nation into voting for the Democratic Party ticket of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
In an article published today, she predicts a John McCain victory in November will result in “a full-fledged race and class war, fueled by a deflated and depressed country, soaring crime, homelessness - and hopelessness!”
My guess is that Ali is merely the pen name being used by Michelle Obama to vent her frustrations about America. After all, it was only two months ago that the proud, yet frustrated wife of the senator from Illinois finally admitted to being proud of this country. And, unable to say what she really wants to say on the campaign trail, the newspaper gig is likely her only outlet for the time being.

This should show you he can't even control his fan base. I am not seeing too many republicans saying mean things about Obama. Again I am a registered Dem. I hate fox news and they are about the only balanced news that isn't a bitch session and when fox starts at is I had to switch to CSPAN

I'm a 36 Female registered democrat 80% odds of voting McCain.
My reasoning is simple--
Having all democrats in the White House is a scary thought--I view McCain as the Referee.
I am a democrat, but I am an honest one too. One thing that has always held true about us--we can't seem to agree on anything. I also recall and never understood the massive exodus away from President Clinton in regards to the Monica issue. Seeing all that bickering really opened my eyes. Then in 2000, Dems could still not unite.
I then started eyeing balling the Independents and what they stood for. Getting stuff done. Speaking of getting stuff done. Democrats have had control for 2 years and what have they done--bicker, bicker amongst themselves. Obama represents "the messenger" and McCain represents "the deliverer". Sarah represents "cleaning up the white house" and an end of an era of bushes and Clinton. Our country is clearly divided and as an American that is a RED FLAG.
I have an unbiased ata boy to both candidates--Good job on keeping it clean! Kudos to both of you. I remember in years past the awful smear campaigns.
As to the Press--ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE SHOCK! WHAT HAPPENED since when did reader's digest (oops I mean opinion blogs) become fact to journalism-- What happened to balanced unbiased news. Did I miss something? I feel so out of touch with what you are reporting and not investigating. Is TV buying our next president. Why does you guys always put Obama in a suit with in a room with a flag. Is it to make him look more presidential. If so he should do that on his on accord. THERE ISN'T ONE AMERICAN NEWS NETWORK THAT PUT THIS MUCH DIGGING INTO OBAMA AS YOU HAVE WITH PALIN. He on on top of the ticket and the logic does not compute. come on!. Since when did news have to compete with entertainment. It's NEWS. Stop it I beg you stop it. QUIT ANTAGONIZING AMERICA. You are feeding the unrest. I have to watch BBC or Canadian news to get proper news. I liked Obama at first, but you guys killed him by shoving him down our throats. Again BBC-- I encourage you to have a look at how they do it! And you consider yourselves intellects--use your head. That is intellect. It's called critical thinking (life is more then a statistic)
I feel Sarah will heal the divide America needs mending. And if Obama gets shot by some stupid idiot dumb freak, and lets be honest America has seen too many of those--What kind of divide will happen -with 9/11, Katrina, Gustov, and Iraq fresh. America will be vulnerable on many levels.
My Story..
I grew up in the pacific northwest moving around with my mom and my sister. My mom would get us up at 3 am and take us to my grandparents. Then go to work packing a chainsaw at 4am to cut trees in the freezing cold with all men. She went from job to job and was on food stamps twice for about 4 months each time. She hated it and felt embarrassed, but was thankful for it. I come from a family that hated Ronald Reagan. I recall my grandmother saying Reaganomics with a slur. I went to a rural two year community college, was student body president. I have lived in Perth, Australia for about a year and a half. I had cancer at 20 and did chemo. I have no children. I am straight and never married. I don't consider myself middle class at all. I make less then 50,000 a year.(info for your stat officiators)
