WWII plane makes belly landing at Airfield in Va. Beach

According to Va. State Police, the plane’s landing gear was stuck and the pilot set the YAK down at the end of the east/west runway.

No one on the plane was hurt, but crews are on the scene cleaning up spilled fuel.

Many vintage planes are stored at the airport on Princess Anne Road.
