www.dailymirror.lk is promoting identity theft

Recently I received a mail from a freind of mine exposing the corrupt practices of www.dailymirror.lk web site.

Some imposter is using my friends name to post most insulting comments on the Government of Sri Lanka in the www.dailymirror.lk web site. When my freind got to know that, he immeadiately contacted the edirotial board via e mail (addresses supplied in the contact us page of the web site) and infromed of the situation. Unfrtunately no one replied or even acknoweedged the mail.

Then my friend tried to post a correction in the same readers comment page. Whenever he posted his side of the story, none of them were published. This he tried more than twenty times, without any sucess.

Thirdly my friend phoned the Wijaya newspapers, the publishers of the daily mirror. One Mr Sandun Jayasekara of the editorial board answered the phone, promised to rectify the error. Yet there were no action.

Meanwhile the imposter is busy posting abusive and offensive remarks against the Government of Sri Lanka under my friends name!!!

This newspaper dailymirror is published by the Wijaya group, owned by the maternal uncle of Hon Ranil Wickramasinghe, the leader of the opposition of Sri Lanka. Perhaps the uncle is trying his best to promote his underperforming naphew by posting abusive remarks under names of the non-suspecting members of the public?

Or is it the webmaster of www.dailymirror.lk is doing the dirty trick for the Mr Wickramasinghe?
