Yesha Callahan: Craigslist Flirtation with Chris Lee Became a Scandal
Yesha Callahan, the woman whom former Congressman Christoper Lee approached in the "women seeking men" section of Craigslist, told the Washington Post that she certainly did not expect a congressman to respond to her post.
Chris Lee had told Yesha Callahan that he was a divorced lobbyist, rather than a married Congressman. Callahand found out the truth by matching his email address (he used his own) to his Facebook page.
A faculty specialist for the University of Maryland and single mother of a preteen son, Callahan hashed over the e-mails with her social circle of young professionals. Lee's deception was out of bounds, her friends agreed, and Callahan began to see this as a cautionary tale.
Yesha Callahan presumed that she wasn't the first person with whom Lee flirted online, and had broken off the correspondence after he sent the now-infamous shirtless photo. Eventually, Callahan contacted Gawker, and the rest is headline fodder. Meanwhile, the incident has put Yesha Callahan off Craigslist for now.

Interesting how your article didn't mention that she is a left-wing blogger and made sure she pulled down her posts before they could be reported on. Don't get me wrong, I am glad the congressman got caught and is gone, but the MSM is fashioning this woman as a working single mother that was looking for some companionship, when she, along with others, were trolling and they caught themselves one Congressman. She has posted at several left blogs, attacks Sarah Palin on one post and had Favorite categories as "Obama" and others that point to her political leanings.
One might use the webs go back services and look-up "Fung'ke Blak Chik" as "the rather more demure “Funky Black” (aka Yesha Callahan) says she is “a 30-something blogger based out of the DC Metro area.” and see what you may find. The MSM has turned their blind eyes once again.
Interesting enough, when a Right leaning individual exposes on planned parenthood, ACORN and other organizations or individuals. The MSM leads with "Right-wing" this and such and calls them trapped or videos edited.
Like I said, I am glad the congressman got caught and am O.K. with folks exposing folks for who they really are (not what they campaign on) I am just asking for equal disclosure. I have always counted on NowPublic contributors to dig a little deeper on stories. That is what make you better than the others.
By the way, there is much more out there on this "former" congressman... stay tuned.
Just for giggles, I heard the President of France is going to run for the open seat! He also found out the age of consent in New York is 17
