Space cadet

A ‘space cadet’ is someone who totally whacked in the head or crazy in simple terms. Crazy because of his ideas and beliefs do not make sense. Even in religion, when some groups have strange teachings, a few stand out as being out of this world, or are being space cadets. One of these religious space cadets is Apollo C. Quiboloy. Quiboloy is a somewhat likeable guy. And unlike Soriano, I haven’t seen him and read about him being obnoxious and offensive. I do have one complaint; read on.

Who is Apollo C. Quiboloy?

According to his website, he was born to Jose and Maria Quiboloy on April 25, 1950 in a Tamayong, Calinan, Davao City.  He claims his mother saw a vision at the time of his birth, and the vision was that of the face of God smiling down at her saying “that is my son…”. Remember his parents’ first names? This is where they come in handy. That’s not all of it. He also claim that his mother gave birth at midnight but it then suddenly turn to morning, or at least 6 hours was gone in an instant! That’s not all of it, he further claims his sister saw a big eagle land on their home the moment he was born! Astounding. Quiboloy needs to prove that about 6 hours cannot be accounted for on the week of April 25, 1950. Not a easy task. You still don’t think he’s a space cadet? Read on:

Fast forward to taday. Quiboloy is the founder and leader of a religion called, are you ready? - The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name. Well, you might say, at least it’s not as long a name as Soriano’s previous churches. You’re right, of course. Quiboloy is based in Davao City, in the southern part of the Philippines.

He claims the Garden of Eden is back. He says it’s up in a mountain where he had his “trial” ground. I’m not an expert of the bible or of thinks diving but seriously. If I recall, there is no mention in the bible that the Garden of Eden will be back, is there? And if there is and it is Quiboloy’s mountain, why there? For the sake of argument let’s say it is in Quiboloy’s mountain; so there should be no buying of food, medicine, water and the like because as you may remember, the Garden of Eden has everything. You don’t even need to plant anything, these just grows. So, until Quiboloy can prove that this is the case, he’s a space cadet to me.

According to his website, in 2003 he was spoke to him! From what I’ve seen in the movies when the “Father” spoke to Moses he grew old. He also didn’t say if it was through a burning bush or text message. In this one on one, he claims he was made as God’s residence here on earth. Well talked about his other claims in another post.
