You say Tomatoes, I Say Tomatos, Festivals of Them, Restaurants in New York, Art in Nashville

Forgive me for the Dizzy Gillespie riff, I could not resist.

This Tour de France in New York, a group of restaurants that is not a bicycle race, after the Tainted Love period we had with Tomatoes, offers New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple a Tomato Festival from August 15 to August 24th (2008).

Other upcoming foodies events include the Carmel Tomato Fest on September 14 and The 12th Annual Kendall-Jackson Heirloom Tomato Festival on Saturday, September 6.

Also worth mentioning in the East Nashville Tomato Art Festival which started on August 9 (my Illustration above)...
