Young Indian Politician gain YouTube fans with ardent speech

India is considered as the country of young population and there are some young lawmakers in the Indian Parliment. Although they don't get to play any decisive role in their party. But in the recently held nuclear debate two young Indian parliamentarions have made big fan following on you Tube site.  Omar Abdulla, a 38-year-old lawmaker spoke impromptu of his decision to support the government and the nuclear deal as the opposition lawmakers kept interrupting him.

 

Two young politicians have found new fans on video-sharing website YouTube after their heartfelt speeches during a debate in parliament touched the right chord with thousands of viewers.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's government won a vote of confidence in parliament on Tuesday, ensuring the survival of the ruling coalition and a civilian nuclear deal with the United States. YouTube users expressed their approval of the impassioned speeches made by Omar Abdullah and Rahul Gandhi during the debate on the vote that was broadcast live on television.

A video of Abdullah's oratory on www.youtube.com notched up more han 11,000 hits in two days, with several users commenting the speech was "awesome".
