Washington, DC – The $10,000 Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting fellowship winner is Arturo Perez Jr.. Two of Perez's Youttube videos were presented to a near capacity audience of about 280 at American University's Greenberg Theatre.

Little Change ... Big Difference presents the effects on people, a grocery and a landfill from San Francisco's ban of plastic bags in large food stores.

Abilities profiles a community for adults with developmental disabilities.

The local DC area was represented by Reggie Jackson, Exchanging for Change from local aspiring journalist, Jane Hendrick of Bethesda, Maryland.
