YSR has now been found dead

Previous story:

YSR, also known as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, is rumoured to be dead after a helicopter crash around 9:35am just after it took off from Hyderabad.

He is still missing and the latest news is that a search is underway. However, National Security advisor M.K Narayanan has said that the helicopter was not brought down by a Maoist strike as they wouldn't have the means to shoot it down.

“Naxals (Maoists) don’t have the capacity to bring down a chopper,” he told the CNN-IBN TV news channel in an interview.

All resources are being used to locate the missing helicopter and even ISRO, the Indian Space Research Organisation, has sent a low flying helicopter to the area the craft went down to see if they can see anything.

“Because of the strong wind and heavy rains, it is possible that it may have landed in an unfamiliar area, and getting out may be difficult,” state Chief Secretary Ramakant Reddy said in a televised news conference yesterday.

Officials are worried about the loss of radar contact with the helicopter, but they are hoping that YSR is safe and will be found soon.

He may die or live. but this is a lesson to learn for all those who want to touch Lord Balaji. His attempts to limit tirumala hills, Grab the money from Tirupati, His mens tactics to unpopularize tirupati and his actions to safe gaurd the theifs in tirupati are well known.

as a human I felt very bad about that tragedies the death of AP's CM YSR. .. I support Uday Krishna's statement. what he was telling is absolutely truth. but alas there is more corruptions inside the Thirumala Thirupathi Devsatanam Board. Entire Thirumla Balaji's Temple can be decorated with full of Gold!!!! some them are misusing by TTD staff, poojaries and some of the prominent persons. Is should be stopped anyhow for the sake of Holy mighty!!!! i.e peoples of Lord balaji’s family….that is vasudhaiva kutumbakam!!!

look at the aircraft's and army force that was sent to search the bodies of aircraft's how technical they are .And see what kind of bloody aircraft was allotted to CHIEF MINISTER.

The sympathy that has shown by the public and officials after his death . If they would have felt little responsibility before his death we would not have lost such an Eligible Great LEGEND .

May be the person survived few hours after the plane crash . But still out bloody technology could not help the person in his painful hours .

MR.YSR.....we miss u, ur schemes, ur everlasting smile n somany yet...... we agree with alex palvai..YSR has introduced so. many schemes for the welfare of below poverty line people. In the previous comments i have seen bloody comments,i feel sorry for those people who cant understand his contribution. Nobody is perfect.evry politian has his own drawbacks,the same happend with YSR(in tirumala case). When compared to all other CM's of india he has done marvellous work to the state. The only one person who can understand his struggle is a COMMON man(im one of them).It is his schemes by which HE WON THE CROWD. --------->AROGYA SHREE PATHAKAM --------->INDIRAMMA GRUHAKALPA --------->PENSIONS --------->FEE REIMBURSEMENT --------->108 (IN URBAN AREA'S),104 (IN RURAL AREA'S) --------->JALA YAGNAM(he aimed to complete about 40 projects) --------->NREGA FOR WOMENS --------->VILLAGE SQUARE his unfulfilled wish which lead to his death... All these schemes and HIS CONFIDENCE LEVEL lead to congress great success again.. Because of Negligence of security forces of india we lost GMC BALAYOGI(SPEAKER),SOUNDARYA..........now YSR.....and continues even in future(which we hope not to be) . Most of the people are praying for his soul to rest in peace but no need of praying becoz HE deserves that peace. Dont know who will be the next CM but hope that person(may not replace him)may carry out the work with same zeal and potential. ***ATLAST KUDOS TO UR WORK***

YSR is dead, PMO confirmed it just.It is unfortunate that it took 24 hour to search the chopper.

Kurnool, Sept 3 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and four other persons were killed in the helicopter that crashed in the Nallamala Hills in bad weather yesterday losing radio contact an hour after take off from Hyderabad.

The bodies of 60-year-old Reddy, who led his Congress party to a spectacular second consecutive victory in the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls, and his Special Secretary P Subramanyam, Chief Security Officer A S C Wesley, pilot Group Captain S K Bhatia and co-pilot M S Reddy were found on Rudrakonda Hill, 40 nautical miles east of here, besides the mangled remains of the helicopter.

There was no official confirmation of the deaths, but highly placed Congress sources in Delhi said that the bodies have been found. An official statement is expected shortly.

A scheduled meeting of the Union Cabinet was cancelled following the tragedy.

He did so much to the state 1.Land rates are drastically raised because of real estate mafia under his control.So a common man can't buy even a single squre feet land. 2.The cost of rice and daily porvisions had reached their peak point which never happened before.
