Yet another accusation has been levied against the army and government of Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe.

imbabwe’s opposition party today publicly accused the army of plotting toassassinate opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai using snipers.

The leader of the Movement for Democratic Change would have been gunned downsoon after he returned home to Zimbabwe, said Tendai Biti, theSecretary-General of the MDC, at a press conference in Nairobi, the Kenyancapital.

“The assassination plot involves snipers,” said Mr Biti, confirming rumoursfirst reported in The Sunday Times yesterday, and adding details.

“It is the military, the JOC (the army's Joint Operational Command) that hasbeen running the country. I cannot speak (more) of that because it would puta lot of lives at risk.”

Dave Keating, I like this story. It's good stuff. I have been writing about this story as well. Thanks for helping as well. It is about time that Mugabe and ZANU-PF are exposed for what they are.

When will the gutless African leaders and the useless UN get off their buts and do something about this piece of human waste?  What could they possibly be waiting for?  Another Darfur?
