It appears that soldiers in Harare Zimbabwe are angry because banks have run out of cash for their November and Christmas Bonuses. There were 14 soldiers who have attacked Foreign Currency Exchange Dealers after the Reserve Bank was unable to pay them. Is this the sign of things to come?

That does not surprise me at all - I think more and more people get fed up with Uncle Bob and his cronies. And you can;t blame them, now can you?
I hope that a split in the military will not lead to violence between those on the side of Mugabe and those who are fed up with the situation.

Once the Armed forces are angry the Government has no leg to stand on any longer.

True, unless there is a split - which can lead to violence between military forces supporting Mugabe (probably because they already get a fat pay check) and those who are fed up. Hopefully this will not happen ...

According to this link, the number of soldiers are 40 and they invited people to join them in their protest. According to a local journalist, the riot police just stood with smiles on their faces before the authorities in Zimbabwe launched their crackdown.
