"The £3bn Atlantic Array offshore wind farm would produce 1,500 megawatts of power - enough to power more than a million homes, covering half of the South West's domestic energy needs."

However, there is a lot of protest in Devon - "Wind power is one of the great self-deceiving fantasies of our age." http://www.warmwell.com/windfarms.html

Given that the site would be 14 miles off the coast of Ilfracomb, would it be such an eyesore?
