Chris Benoit, his wife, and son were found dead Monday and police said they were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide.

WWE Chris Benoit is remembered by those who knew him include:

WWE chairman Vince McMahon standing in the middle of an empty ring, eyes welling up with tears and voice cracking as he broke the news of Benoit’s death.

Chris has extended many years and I consider him a great friend. Chris was always first-class — warm, friendly, caring and professional . . . one of the best in our business.”

WWE champion John Cena. “He was a good man
Chris was the type of guy you’d want to go to war with,” said

WWE announcer Jim Ross said during Monday’s tribute. “Many of us had the privilege and honour of celebrating Chris’s greatest moments.”

In ending all agree They love that guy. and gonna miss him.”

My Final Thought
Not knowing all the details, one detail sticks out clearly, the man who "Strangled to Death" his wife and smothered his 7 year old son. The wife and son, I am sure were unwilling participants as he snuffed their lives out as easy as he did his took down his much larger opponents. It is a sad society we live in when others see fit to honour a man who committed these horrific acts. I for one, see it as it is as horrific as the O.J. Simpson.  Society is so clueless when mincing pedophile Micheal Jackson is accused of molesting little boys and faces ruin, yet in the same vein Benoit looked into his terrified childs eyes and brutally smothered the life out of a child and is honoured by those who knew him.  The only difference society sees between calling him a hero instead of a monster is that he too took his own life, sparing him that "Monster" moniker.

Of course some will blame steroids as the cause, makes about as much sense as someone killing his family because of his low blood sugar, when he couldn't find a candy bar.

No matter how you report it, Society is surely F*cked up.
