www.vampirefreaks.com - Is this Site a Killer?

Just because all these people had a VF account doesn't mean that VF promoted it. How many serial killers have a myspace or facebook account? How many rapists look for little kids online? Vampirefreaks does not promote shooting. Yeah everyone on that site says they hate humans but none of us would ever shoot anyone.

By the way, Chris "MalkvaianMime" is right. The media is always blaimed for the issues dealing with kids. It's not the media it never is. 

VampireFreaks is NOT the cause for these killing, and its not what you think. The people who went on those killing sprees are just psychotic, weak people who just snaped. It has nothing to do with Vampirefreaks. Its not the websites fault, its the person who went and committed the crime. And HELLO! the things that people write on their like their age that says 100 years old, or that for occupation, it says killer or god, or something along those, they are made up, its not for real. Dont go making a damn statement from possibilites. Sure, some idiots who went on killing sprees where involved with VF, that has nothing to do with it.

This is the most absurd article I have ever read; these findings are merely coincidence, not conclusive evidence. If you look at the profiles of other such killers, you will find countless such similarities. Correlation does NOT equal cause.

yay lets blast a website or music because people lose it and kill somebody. if somebody went out and shot alot of people because god told him he heard it in gospel music there would be NOTHING about gospel music being bad. I do like how they point out an accused killer's girlfriend's sister's bestfriend's neighbor has a profile on vampire freaks.... who cares it doesnt mean the people on there are all willing to do something bad. they need to stop looking at people who want to be different as a problem, the problem is the people who want everybody to be alike.

This only needs a simple reply. If someone goes on a shooting spree while drinking a Pepsi, I doubt Pepsi or Pepsi drinkers would be blamed for it.... it would just be that individual's fault. But, if that person had an account on an underground culture based site like VampireFreaks, it must be VF's fault. The media needs to stop taking underground culture populations and making them scapegoats for tragedies like this.

not everyone on vampirefreaks is like that. if you ask the majority of the people on there, they can say they're there to talk to people. i have a profile on there, and i have to say from expirience that the people i have spoken to are really ok.

i hate it that once the media finds out that a murder was goth/punk/any other random stereotype, they blow it out of proportion. the only people who actually kill people have something wrong with them. don't blame the group they hung out with for their actions.

i have a vampire freak and the website is not dangerous its the same thing as a myspace but way cooler. Im sorry to have to inform u but these murders took place because the victoms told people to much about them selves. whoever wrote that article is dumb as fk. no tv show, actor, singer, or website can convince or cause a person to commit a crime. it is all to do with that person. its just by chance that all those examples had a vampirefreaks profile. they obviously had some issues that they brought on themselves or someone else in their lives. the founder of vampirefreaks in no way made a website promoting what is being said it promotes.

Hello.I generally do not get involved in this type of shit, but i agree with my fellow vampire freaks users in that it is very moronic of anyone to blame a website for either  aiding or creating killers. I particularly agree with Dagress . Any site that allows communications between users can potentially have a killer or two or a hundred etc.It is not the sites fault.It is the fault of the killing individual.As for aiding a killer, it is illegal. the FBI monitor that kind of stuff.The creators of nearly all communications websites  would be arrested and their sites eradicated if even 1 third of the millions of complaints on this topic were true. Did anyone know that the person behind Virginia Tech had a myspace and a facebook?That happened some time ago. These sites are still in business arent they?For my fellow VF users , I have good but probably already known news: VF will survive.Just like Myspace ,Facebook etc.As for those who judge other people for being different or better than themselves, they can go to hell at any point.
