What the Time's Person of the Year can do besides being a part of Web 2.0? YOU can be an agent of change. Here's a video of what "YOU"- and we can do together to end war.

“And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country,” former President of U.S.A., John F. Kennedy said these famous words, albeit in a different context. However today, it seems people’s demands and long-running wish lists have put their own future in jeopardy. Everyone’s saying that there should be an end to war and terrorism, and to the communal violence and confrontation. But nobody, except a few, is saying what can be done to achieve it. What are the clear solutions to the war on terror- American occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan- and the increasing threat to the global civilization?

There could be many things that countries could have done. But what can we - single individuals - do to make this world a happy place? How can we reduce the threat of global warming with our individual efforts? Can you contribute to the war on terror? Even if you want to - the question arises how you would start.

Hundreds and thousands of people are
dying every month in front of us! I feel the blood spilled in Tigris in my own veins and arteries. I feel the pain of the orphans, of the childless, because it is human. No one can deny that September 11 isn’t going to disappear from our minds for years to come. The picture of hanging Saddam Hussein will only increase the gap between the Christian and Arab world. But do we want these grey shades of our present time haunt our future? Don’t we want to move ahead from September 11? Is occupation of Iraq an answer to the war on terror? Pardon, I beg to differ with President Bush, like most of us do. War can never achieve a lasting peace. If anything could-- then its love and brotherly o-existence.

This necessity applies for every other country in religious, communal, intellectual or any other kind of violence and confrontation. We must learn to respect each other. We must learn to forgive.

The best way to end the Muslim extremism and terrorism is not by launching at attack or bombing Al-Qaeda sites. It is by spreading the message of love and respect. You might think that I’m being too simplistic, but that is how one and every person can do something to make this world a happy place with his individual efforts.
