Murielle Glockson, a Florida woman is claiming to have eaten a rotten burger from her local McDonald's. Although the claim is still being investigated, the woman took a picture of the hamburger crawling with little worms. She says she had to go to hospital after eating the burger. McDonald's argues that if there really were maggots in the hamburger, the smell of the rotting meat would have been so putrid, that Glockson could not have even taken a bite. Other experts agree that most likely, it was a caterpillar in the burger. As both Glockson and McDonald's have shady pasts officials are urging the public not to jump to conclusions. Glockson has fraud charges against her and that particular McDonald's has failed over 10 health inspections.
You've heard of the worm in the apple. But the worm in the hamburger?

While Murielle may have eaten a bad burger...it certainly wasn't this one from In and Out Burger in California. I can't say enough wonderful things about this burger....100% perfect in all aspects. I want one NOW!!

In my opinion this women has investigated this particular McDonalds and found that it has previously been charged with other food problems, giving her more reason to target this location. According to research it has had 10 other food complaint problems with flies and so on. Since she also has been charged in the past she obviously has a background and knows McDonalds has the money to cough up on cases like this to save their reputation. Glockson has liver problems and I highly doubt her sickness was from worms in her burger which she first claimed to be maggots but only found that it was a catiplliar. McDonald’s should not have to pay her for this "incident" due to the fact that she has a record in the past. Things like this happen in the food industry on a day to day basis. Wal-mart for instance is constantly sued and consumers try to get away with this because #1 it is the number one retailer in the world and #2 they do not want a bad reputation so consumers think they will give them what they want to silence them. The women will not end up with a settlement and if she does not want to eat at McDonalds again there are plenty of other fast food places she can go. It is not a believable case, she ate almost the whole hamburger before finding a whole catipillar in it, what is the chance that at the end of a meal you find a worm in your food?
