Youngsters in Neath Port Talbot sign up for Duke of Edinburgh scheme

Over fifty young people from Neath Port Talbot signed up to take part in their gold award expedition at an event in Llangatwg comprehensive school last week.

The event was part of a programme of recruitment meetings organised by the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

The pupils from the county borough who have signed up will undertake an expedition training programme throughout the autumn, winter and the spring. They will then take part in a summer expedition.
