Not to worry. The story you just posted probably has more than 3 pageviews. We are debugging the counter and you'll soon have an accurate count of how many people viewed your postings. Sorry for the self esteem destroying bug.

I am with actual news guy. Could you be more specific? I am not sure if I am still being undercounted or not, but have had a distinct fall off in the number of veiws I am getting- some of these I suspect are getting fewer views because they are highly specialized stories, but I would like to know if the counter bug has or has not been fixed. Since we changed to the new format, I seem to have been getting fewer views.Contact me through the profile page.

Hi Anne,
We are currently testing the system. We believe we have solved the problem but are keeping an eye on the numbers. It should be obvious shortly whether or not we're accurately representing the views. It seems that the overall traffic for the site is up so it stands to reason that individual stories should also show higher pageviews than normal.
