Zune firmware 1.2 - fixes? not much…

Microsoft has released their first firmware update for the Zune, version 1.2.

So what’s new? Nothing really. No web browsing, native DivX support, or gapless playback. The update “…will help enhance stability and performance.” Basically, navigating menus and scrolling through music, movies, and pictures is quicker.

Better than nothing anyway, though I’d like to see the Zune set up with more of the usual player basics, like a sleep timer and custom equalizer.

The update can be installed via the Zune software.
